Human Resources Conference

"Preparing for the Future"

Registration Opens April 19, 2010.

The Nonprofit Human Resources Conference is the nation’s only human resources conference dedicated exclusively to meeting the educational and professional development needs of nonprofit human resources leaders. The conference provides participating organizations nonprofit specific education and outstanding networking opportunities designed to help mission-driven organizations more effectively carry out their visions and goals.

Even given the current state of the nation’s economy, the 2009 edition of the NPHRC grew by 10 percent over its 2008 numbers. Specifically designed to be timely and relevant, the 2009 conference provided its attendees all of the following beneficial items:

• Thirty-three timely and relevant concurrent sessions presented by 45 speakers and covering four tracks including HR Strategy, Workplace Culture, Total Rewards and Talent Management.

• Four dynamic keynote presentations from nationally recognized nonprofit leaders such as DC Central Kitchen’s CEO Robert Egger, Girls, Inc.’s National Director of Human Resources, Robin L. Robin, Civic Ventures Vice President, Phyllis Segal, and Public Allies President & CEO, Paul Schmitz.

• Three networking sessions including a welcome reception, special networking roundtable sessions by organization type, and an entertaining Night on the Town with fellow attendees.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Preparing for the Future” The event will be held for the third consecutive year at the Renaissance M Street Hotel in Washington, D.C.
