Silent Auction

to benefit the Nonprofit HR Solutions Scholarship Fund

In January of 2000, Nonprofit HR Solutions was launched with a simple vision of providing services to augment the power, reach and effectiveness of nonprofit organizations through more efficient and strategic uses of human resources.


Ten years later that mission still exists. To celebrate our tenth anniversary, Nonprofit HR Solutions is holding a reception and dinner on April 8, 2010 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC. This black tie gala will be attended by over 100 representatives from across the local and national nonprofit sector.


We invite all sector professionals and support industries to take part in our Gala Celebration by contributing to the event through either a monetary sponsorship or donated item(s) to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to help launch Nonprofit HR Solutions' unique contribution to the sector.

A Gala Celebration Through Giving

In an effort to assist under-resourced nonprofit HR professionals and departments, Nonprofit HR Solutions has partnered with the Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area (HRA-NCA) to create the Nonprofit HR Solutions Scholarship Fund (NPHRSSF). The fund is administered by HRA-NCA and funded by Nonprofit HR Solutions.

The purpose of the fund is to provide resources for qualified nonprofit HR professionals to increase the HR capacity of their organizations, maintain their professional certifications, and/or continue their education when their organizations lack the funds necessary to do so.


Nonprofit HR Solution's Gala Celebration and Silent Auction is the inaugural fundraising event for
the NPHRSSF. Our goal is to raise $10,000 during this celebration.


In doing so, Nonprofit HR Solutions hopes to help increase the human resources capacity of the local nonprofit sector and thereby create an environment where individual organizations and their HR leaders can more effectively respond to the needs of the communities that they serve.
