Senior Director, Human Resources

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Senior Director of Human Resources provides leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the organization’s human resources function in support of NIB’s overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, organizational and performance management, learning and development, and compensation.
The Senior Director will partner with key stakeholders and customers to ensure relationship-based collaboration, development of annual and long-term objectives, and actively plan for, address, and forecast future HR needs (inclusive of process, infrastructure, and change management), and execute accordingly. Overall the Senior HR Director will offer timely, forward-thinking counsel and guidance on issues related to NIB’s use of talent and collaborate effectively with the senior management across the organization to align human resources policies and programs with the strategic goals of the organization.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of Human Resources Management experience, OR a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management and seven (7) years of experience in HR management; PHR/SPHR certification preferred; demonstrated expertise in principles and practices of human resources management and ability to strategically and tactically evaluate and implement sophisticated HR related programs and initiatives.
