Title: Board of Directors and Committee Manager

The International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions is seeking a Board of Directors and Committee Manager to join its Executive Staff.
The Manager provides the President and CEO with administrative and project management support relating to the IAAPA Board of Directors and Executive and Finance Committee specifically, and IAAPA committees generally. The Manager also provides support for the Association’s annual Service Awards and Hall of Fame Awards.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and minimum of five (5) years’ experience with nonprofit Board management, including staffing of committees, organizing and running Board and committee meetings and reporting on their activities. This individual must also demonstrate effective organizational skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The most successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with established Board members, staff, members and other key stakeholders, have excellent interpersonal skills and advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, iMIS and Sitefinity.
This position is located in IAAPA’s Orlando, FL HQ office and requires approximately 20% domestic and international travel to attend and participate in required IAAPA meetings/events. The position requires extensive physical mobility and the ability to hear, speak and communicate audibly.
