Nonprofit HR’s Tracye Weeks, Senior HR Business Partner, will present on a panel discussion during the R.I.S.E. Women’s Leadership Conference.
About the Panel Discussion Topic:
Pay Equity For Women: Past, present, and future:
THE WORK IS NOT DONE! 80 cents can’t even buy you a McDonald’s cheeseburger… but $1 can. Women across the country are earning 80 cents for every white man’s dollar – and while we may not all be craving a fast-food cheeseburger, that delta is important. The modern workforce is built upon practices that codify both the gender and racial wage gap. Slow progress has been made but there is an increasingly urgent call for more- more changes in hiring practices, more transparency in the workplace, more protections, and advocacy for women and minorities in working families. Learn the facts, and take away tools to help you start discussions, raise awareness, and advocate for change.
