Amy Concepcion, MBA, SHRM-SCP, brings over 15 years of experience providing strategic human resources and operational support with emphases on talent management, coaching and process development. As a consultant, Amy executes partnerships in a proactive, solutions-based, high-quality manner leveraging proven best practices to align organizational and business needs.
Throughout her career history, Amy has worked in a variety of industries and worn many hats in the realm of HR, which has made her a true generalist at heart with expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development and design, workforce planning, compliance and change management. Passionate about company culture, she completed the Zappos Culture Camp Training in 2014 and since that time has completed additional training sessions from the world’s leading culturally-driven companies, including Disney, Starbucks and Google, with the goal to continuously evolve human resources practices from the viewpoint that culture directly impacts the productivity of an organization’s workforce.
While wanting to understand how an organization’s financial and operational components correlate to HR practices, Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2010 and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2014. She is also a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and has an affinity for Airbnb/VRBO. To support this, she has added a couple of priorities to her bucket list, which include visiting and staying in every state at least once and seeing a real firefly in its natural habitat.
