Betsy Milton, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

At Nonprofit HR, Betsy often steps in to support colleagues and growing nonprofits in building and supporting solid HR and hiring structures across the entire employee experience.

Betsy has a successful track record within technology start-up, global manufacturing, healthcare and Fortune 500 environments. Within the past 10 years, she has worked in small, high-growth environments, helping leaders determine the appropriate people structure and practices to get into place at specific phases of growth. She has worked to build out and implement practices in hiring, talent management, training and development, HR compliance and other areas of human resources. Overall, it’s her passion to collaborate with others in her field and to come alongside leaders as they equip their people to fully participate in the growth of the organization.

Betsy has her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and senior HR certifications from HRCI and SHRM.  

Outside of work, you might find her on an off-road trail with her husband in their Jeep or on the lake with family.
