As a Consultant with Nonprofit HR, Cortney serves as a strategic thought partner and provides expertise and guidance across the HR lifecycle. Her expertise will assist clients on how to cultivate relationships, mitigate risks, support strategy and ensure operational excellence across the HR function.

Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Cortney was a Human Resource Generalist within the manufacturing industry for well known brands such as Andersen Windows and Airstream Inc. She was responsible for Talent Management, Benefits, Workplace Investigations and Employee Engagement. Cortney also has previous experience working within the tech space and social services/workforce development.

Cortney graduated in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Applied Business and in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, both with an emphasis in Human Resources. In 2019 she sat for and passed the SHRM-CP certification through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Cortney resides in Ohio where she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible in the summer. Her most precious titles are wife and mom!
