Cynthia Orme, Senior Consultant, Outsourcing for Nonprofit HR, brings over 30 years experience in compensation and human resources management in the consulting, corporate and nonprofit arenas.
Cynthia has worked as an independent HR consultant and also as a consultant with Mercer and Willis Towers Watson. She has also held roles as Vice President of various areas of global HR with GlaxoSmithKline. Cynthia works closely with organizations to ensure that people practices align with the organizational mission and strategic intent. She provides subject matter expert advice, insight and strategic direction across all HR disciplines. She is especially adept at culture-building, leadership development, full-cycle talent management, reward, organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. She works closely with executive leaders and organizational teams to drive sustainable results and ensure organizational integrity in people practices and programs.
Cynthia has an undergraduate degree from Villanova University in English Literature. She also has an MBA with a Finance concentration from Villanova, and has been pursuing a Master’s of Social Work at Temple University, focused on administration and organizational health in nonprofits. She has a Six Sigma Green Belt in process improvement and a certification in Advanced Human Resources Management from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Cynthia lives in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She enjoys walking along Fairmount Avenue and Kelly Drive and spending time with her children and close friends.
