Eberechi Obi, MAEd, has 15 years of nonprofit experience in staff training and leadership development, program/talent development and management, organizational culture, talent recruitment and much more through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Eberechi was the Director of Programs at Climb Hire, a nonprofit geared toward providing training and economical opportunity for nontraditional talent in the corporate and tech sector. As the founding Director of their business development track, she created and facilitated a 16-week career development training for a diverse population. Prior to that, she worked as a Specialist in the Talent Development and Consulting arm of the award-winning organization called the Posse Foundation. There she developed and coached 165+ staff across 10 cities, developed and maintained organizational culture and program manuals, and spearheaded multiple staff and DEI trainings for internal staff and external constituents.

Eberechi received her bachelor’s degree at UCLA and her Master in Arts in Education (MAEd) degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She was born and raised in Los Angeles but moved to New York City for six years before returning back to Los Angeles to be closer to family. You can catch her being the loudest cheerleader at her nieces and nephews little league football, basketball or tennis games; on the beach with her pup named Daisy; or traveling the world to see and understand different cultures.
