Karen Lewis is a Human Resources Consultant with more than 15 years of well-rounded HR experience in the corporate sector. Karen is able to effectively build strong relationships with each client to better understand their unique needs and provide HR solutions to meet their strategic goals.
Prior to Nonprofit HR, Karen worked in HR departments in the technology, automotive and healthcare spaces. She is experienced in supporting diverse populations and states, including being well-versed in California employment law. Her previous HR experience include HR Business Partner and Director-level roles supporting organizations with employee populations that range between 50 – 10,000+ globally. Her areas of expertise include HR compliance, employee relations, performance management and benefit administration.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources & Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, as well as SPHR and SHRM-SCP credentials. In her spare time, she enjoys helping other HR professionals obtain their HR certifications through HRCI and SHRM.
