Karen Lewis is a Human Resources Consultant with more than 15 years of experience in various industries including automotive, healthcare, and technology. Her areas of practice consist of HR compliance, employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching, and policy creation.
Prior to Nonprofit HR, Karen worked as an HR Business Partner at Linux Academy, an industry leader in hands-on, web-based, cloud technology training. Her previous experience includes Honda Motor America, Isuzu Motors America, Molina Healthcare, and ADP. She is experienced in supporting diverse populations and states, including California.
Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources & Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, as well as SPHR and SHRM-SCP credentials. Karen is currently pursuing her master’s degree in HR Management from the University of Southern California.
When not spending time with family and friends, Karen enjoys reading true crime novels and history books as well as volunteering at the local children’s hospital. In addition, she enjoys mentoring other HR professionals that are working on obtaining their HR certifications.
