Laura is an accomplished HR professional who is passionate about partnering and collaborating with executives to strategically develop and execute organizational objectives. Laura brings thoughtful, intentional HR expertise to her clients through diverse strategic support. She cultivates relationships in order to further the organization mission and to support all facets of HR: collaboration to move the work forward/client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, HRIS implementation, employee and labor relations, as well as supporting diversity, equity and inclusion objectives. Laura is always thinking globally, strategically and objectively.
Laura’s 10+ years of HR experience includes service to The George Washington University, Capitol Hill, as well as work at John Snow, Inc/The Partnership for Supply Chain Management, where she supported an international workforce. Laura proactively engages with clients to provide critical guidance in areas of compliance, best practices and process improvements across the various aspects of HR.
Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a minor in Spanish. She also holds her SHRM-CP through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is an active member of both the National SHRM organization and the local Columbia, SC SHRM chapter.
