Maggie Jewett comes to Nonprofit HR with five years of experience providing full HR life-cycle support as the primary point of contact for 200+ employees with a focus on HR and talent development, benefits administration, risk management, compliance, and HRIS management. Prior to moving to the private sector she spent over a decade in education combining interests in linguistics and developmental psychology with a desire to impact future generations. She is looking forward to applying her expertise looking holistically and thinking innovatively to increase efficiency and efficacy in the nonprofit sector.
She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Wheaton College (MA), a Masters in Italian Literature from the University of Virginia, and was dually certified to teach Italian and Spanish for the State of Maryland. Most recently she completed her professional certification through SHRM. In her free time, she volunteers at special events for the Humane Rescue Alliance.
