Michael is a highly driven and organized HR consultant who provides strategic human resources thought partnership and operational support. Aside from offering a breadth of skills from his extensive generalist and business partner experience, Michael focuses on identifying individual organizational needs, transforming them into innovative solutions.
Prior to joining the Nonprofit HR team, Michael supported businesses and organizations in the hospitality, technology and insurance sectors, in addition to time spent consulting for an international portfolio of companies. In his most recent role, Michael managed the HR functions for a pet health insurance company during a time of extensive growth and a robust rebrand. During this time, he designed multiple concurrent initiatives to help optimize the transition.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University and is an active member of the MidAtlantic Employers’ Association (MEA) as well as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He has spoken on numerous panels and podcasts discussing human resource best practices and work culture. Outside of work, Michael enjoys film, hiking and spending time with his husband and extensive fur family.
