Sangeetha Subramanian brings a passion for talent development, coaching, and inclusion to her role as Client Engagement Manager for Nonprofit HR. With a strong client-service orientation, she is a matchmaker of sorts, always carefully matching prospective nonprofit and association professionals’ need to the appropriate Nonprofit HR services. Sangeetha’s favorite task is keeping everyone connected within the Nonprofit HR community through peer-lead roundtables; social sector data and insights from our Knowledge team; and personal invitations to virtual and in-person events.
She previously worked at Amazon, Big Brothers Big Sisters, New Jersey Network Public Television and Radio and Junior Achievement in Human Resources and relationship-building roles. Sangeetha’s brainchild, The Women’s Future Leadership Forum, is in its 10th year of production with Junior Achievement of New Jersey and has been adopted by other Junior Achievement chapters across the country. She also directed her passion for inclusion to design pop-up diversity activities for 2000 employees at Amazon, focusing on underserved employee populations.
Sangeetha is a graduate from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
Outside of work, she volunteers as President of Namic Capital Area (formerly Namic Mid-Atlantic) and regularly collaborates with the board to develop programming for television and cable professionals, minority actors, women in sports, filmmakers, and podcast creators in DC.
