WTOP: 5 ways nonprofits can…
It is with reflection and excitement that I share Nonprofit HR’s future plans for increasing and diffusing knowledge to the community that we have cultivated for nearly two decades. We will be increasing our virtual learning programming in 2019 and will no longer offer our annual Talent & Culture Summit.
Virtual programming will allow us to maintain our focus on the unique human resources needs of the social sector, while stimulating meaningful discussion around emerging trends and developments in talent management without the limitations of geography. This new direction will also allow us to present information via contemporary technology so that nonprofit professionals across the country can participate from their own locations and at significantly less cost. Our new virtual learning opportunities calendar will be launched in January 2019.
We will still offer targeted in-person events, including Interact for Impact (i4i), which are peer-led, roundtable discussions. Our next in-person i4i event will be a networking holiday reception in Washington, DC on December 6, 2018 at 6 p.m. All future in-person event details will be made available at nonprofithr.com/events. Also, we will continue to offer customized in-person trainings to organizations. We offer training on dozens of topics, which you may view at nonprofithr.com/hr-training.
If you are a speaker and wish to be a subject presenter or would like to sponsor or partner on an upcoming Nonprofit HR Virtual Learning Opportunity, please send your information to Patty Hampton at [email protected].
Thank you to all of our past event sponsors, speakers, partners, exhibitors, and vendors! We look forward to engaging you in new ways.
Sincerely,
Lisa Brown Alexander
