Dana Gray is a consultant for Nonprofit HR. As a people leader with over 17 years of experience leveraging an extensive background in executing human resources strategies for employee populations in multiple industries including Finance, Retail/ Distribution, Energy, and Healthcare Dana’s passion for people and results has been the driving force in her HR career.
Dana is an effective strategy builder focused on bringing stability and innovation to HR departments by increasing efficiencies through collaboration and effective communication. She identifies ways to drive positive change and organizational performance by aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. Dana is a creative and strategic thinker, problem-solver, and decision-maker who effectively balances the needs of employees with the mission of the organization.
Dana graduated from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business Management. It was in her Industrial and Organizational Psych class that she was introduced to Human Resources which led to her obtaining a Masters of Management in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix.
She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, National Association of African Americans in Human Resources Management, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys volunteering with the Dallas SU Alumni chapter and mentoring students interested in HR.
