Dana Gray, leveraging over 17 years of progressive HR experience, works to partner with organizations as an HR change agent. Bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and applicable HR experience in executing human resources strategies, Dana provides stability and innovation to the HR function by increasing efficiencies through collaboration and effective communication. She identifies ways to drive positive change and organizational performance by aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. Dana is a creative and strategic thinker, problem solver and decision maker who effectively balances the needs of employees with the mission of the organization.
Through the years, Dana has supported employee populations in various industries including Finance, Retail/ Distribution, Energy and Healthcare. Dana’s passion for people and results has been the driving force in her HR career. She has managed HR operations including organizational development, senior leadership consulting, HCM implementation, talent management/ workforce planning and employee relations.
Hailing from Baton Rouge, LA Dana has lived in north Texas (Dallas and Arlington) for the past 13 years. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business Management from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Management in Human Resources Management from University of Phoenix. She is an active member of Society for Human Resources Management, National Association of African Americans in Human Resources Management and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She enjoys volunteering with the Dallas SU Alumni chapter and mentoring students interested in HR. Dana is an avid baker/cookier, but her favorite thing is to bake and have fun in the kitchen with her nephew, Carter.
