Eileen Connor, SHRM-SCP, SPHRWith a diverse professional background that spans 25 years, Eileen has extensive experience in human resources practices and programs, executive and professional recruitment and sourcing, and employee and executive communications. During her career, she has served nonprofits, professional services firms and a global financial institution on culture and operational initiatives, designing and implementing effective and compassionate people practices, policies and programs.
Her professional portfolio includes building the first Human Resources departments for two prestigious multi-million dollar accounting and advisory firms. Furthermore, her experience with recruitment and talent acquisition has allowed her to serve and support hundreds of people at every stage in their careers, as well as leading two nonprofits in the identification and selection of their Executive Directors. Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, she was the Director of Human Resources for one of the largest independent public accounting firms in Ohio for nearly 10 years.
Eileen has been SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified since 2005, and has a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Management with a concentration in Human Resources. She is also an avid community champion, currently serving on the board of the North Hill Community Development Corporation as Secretary and Chair of the 2022 International Day of Peace celebration in Akron, Ohio.
