Kalyn Simon, PHR, is an Associate Consultant within the firm’s Outsourcing practice. Her role includes providing operational and administrative HR support while acting as an essential part of the service delivery team interacting with client POCs and employees. Additionally, she may serve as the point of contact for client employees, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information, providing strategic partnership and implementing efficiencies in HR processes.
Over the past few years, Kalyn has worked with nonprofit organizations in their growth phases to establish and maintain HR initiatives that align strategically with the operational goals of those organizations. Using both soft and technical skills to create solutions that benefit organizations long term, Kalyn has spearheaded successful internship programs; obtained and facilitated state-designated training for employees; and configured HRIS systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Kalyn believes that change and a willingness to learn can help organizations operate at their highest potential.
Academically, Kalyn holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources Management from Southeastern LA University, a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and a Certification in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. She continues to expand her knowledge through traditional and nontraditional methods and finds true happiness is learning. When Kalyn isn’t delivering HR support, she’s out in nature with her family and finding ways to promote health, wellness and positivity.
