ASSOCIATE HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Since 2000, our team has helped guide hundreds of nonprofits supporting advocacy, health and human services, arts and culture, education, the environment, faith-based missions and more.
We are seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to join our virtual team, The HR Cooperative. The Associate HRBP will work with our team of HRBP’s and assist on a wide array of HR projects and tasks throughout the HR lifecycle including talent recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance management, employee relations, staff training.
The Associate HRBP works under the general direction of a HRBP to ensure high quality client service and guidance. This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual who is interested in growing his/her career in the field of HR.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources generalist experience OR a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and a minimum of one year of HR experience
- HR certification preferred but not required
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management
- Outstanding client service orientation and basic understanding of the nonprofit sector
- Experience in the nonprofit sector helpful
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including ability to communicate orally, and write effectively and concisely to a wide variety of audiences including management, staff, boards of directors and other potential client organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency with all MS office applications and understanding of HR technology including HRIS and ATS.
- Ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial orientation and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
