Join us for an engaging seminar on Coaching for Executives: Blending Human Approach and AI Tools designed for HR executives and executive leadership coaches who seek to enhance their coaching skills and strategies, as well as understand how they might use AI tools in their coaching practice. This seminar offers a practical introduction to the fundamentals of executive coaching and how coaching supports leadership growth. We’ll explore emerging trends in AI-powered coaching and development, including current use cases and the range of tools available in the market today. Participants will learn how to vet AI coaching tools using the International Coaching Federation’s AI Standards. We will also discuss what senior leaders should expect from coaching and how they can adopt coaching practices to better support their teams. Finally, we’ll share actionable best practices for today’s fast-paced and evolving business environment.

About the Presenters:

Samantha Justice Kelley, AAC, CPCC, SHRM-SCP, SPHR
Managing Director & Outsourcing, Nonprofit HR

Samantha Justice Kelley is a dynamic leader with a passion for coaching, consulting, and advancing strategic talent management in the nonprofit sector. With extensive experience in human resources and organizational strategy, she has spent most of her HR career guiding nonprofit leaders in aligning their people strategies with their mission, vision, and long-term goals. Her expertise spans leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, and equity in policy and practice—helping organizations build sustainable, people-centered solutions that drive impact.

In addition to her role as Director, Outsourcing, Samantha is a Leadership & Executive Coach.  She earned her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) credential through the Co-Active Training Institute and holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). With a coaching philosophy rooted in self-discovery and transformational growth, she partners with leaders to help them tap into their strengths, build resilience, and lead with intention.

Beyond her professional work, Samantha has served as Vice Chairwoman of Pay It Forward Networking Group, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women of color by providing education, resources, and connections for personal and professional success. She has also held leadership roles with the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and volunteered for various HR & Coaching professional organizations. A proud graduate of Hampton University, Samantha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and maintains senior HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP).

Samantha enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, traveling to new places, attending live music events, and capturing moments through portrait photography.

Dr. Michelle Caryn Paul
President, Equifinality Solutions, LLC

Dr. Michelle Caryn Paul’s passion for creating positive work environments began at her Washington, DC kitchen table, inspired by her father, a labor lawyer. Her consulting career began when she co-founded a consulting firm in Silicon Valley, helping high-growth technology companies enhance organizational health and maximize the “people side” of business. She spent fifteen years as an organizational effectiveness consultant, leading human capital interventions for government and non-profit clients. Today, as President of Equifinality Solutions, Dr. Paul helps her clients reinvent their business workflows with generative AI and engineer human performance for business success. She earned her BA in Psychology and Sociology (summa cum laude) from Emory University, and her MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland College Park. She resides in the Washington, DC area, and frequently can be found either hiking a local creek trail, cycling, or dancing to Zydeco music.

Recertification Credits:

This program has been submitted for pre-approval for 1 SHRM PDC. DC SHRM is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. This program has been submitted for pre-approval for 1 hours of General credit by HRCI.
