Nonprofit HR Business Development Initiatives Increase for West Coast
Antonio (Tony) Cruz to Support the Firm’s Client Capacity Expansion

WASHINGTON, D.C., December 14, 2020—Nonprofit HR recently announced the appointment of Antonio (Tony) Cruz as the Director, Business Development for the West Coast. Cruz will assist Nonprofit HR in developing new client business while also supporting existing client accounts and engaging in activities that generate revenue for the region. Working closely with subject matter experts, Cruz will collaborate with business leaders to establish and maintain the firm’s superior customer service and client-centered approach, with a focus on further developing client relationships in the San Francisco Bay and the Los Angeles Metro areas.

Cruz brings with him over 25 years of experience that encompass various roles throughout varied industry sectors. These experiences have allowed him to refine his understanding of market trends and have extended his knowledge in assisting the organizations he has represented with growth and depth of client relationships in new and existing markets.

“Our focus on thought-partnering with nonprofits on the West Coast reflects the growth of the sector in this region, and our efforts to continually understand, meet and exceed the unique talent management needs of each client. We remain dedicated to offering tailored solutions to mission-driven organizations that want to strengthen their people management capacity, which is why we are immensely excited to welcome Tony to our team,” said Lisa Brown Alexander, President & CEO of Nonprofit HR.

Cruz’s appointment is part of a larger organizational restructuring effort to increase the firm’s capacity to support social impact organizations during this time of uncertainty. Nonprofit HR’s Business Development practice, originally led by the firm’s Vice President and Managing Director, Patty Hampton, is now being led by Sidney Abrams. Hampton will shift focuses to work with social enterprises that are also facing increased talent management challenges. Nonprofit HR has also streamlined its other client services areas including Strategy and Advisory; Search; Outsourcing; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Total Rewards.

Cruz’s bio may be seen here. A full press release on how Nonprofit HR continues to thought-partner with social impact organizations may be seen here.
