The LA RED Director leads Faith in Action’s immigrant rights program, to build power towards national efforts for administrative and legislative relief for the 11 million undocumented immigrants. They are responsible for leading the design strategy and tactics in coordination with Faith in Action staff, leaders, clergy, and allies. This position together with LA RED’s steering committee develops Faith in Action’s immigration priorities and provides leadership, planning, management and oversight. Working closely with Faith in Action’s organizing, regional, political and program staff, the director will develop and implement campaigns, messaging and public education. The director will build and maintain key strategic partnerships and relationships, including with immigration movement allies and unions. This position will report directly to the Political Director.
