Position: Director, Total Rewards 
Reports to: Chief People Officer
Location: This role will be remote in the continental US, Alaska, or Hawaii but must be able to operate within continental U.S. time zones
Salary Range: $125,000–$140,000

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. Every day, our employees help save lives through crisis services, advocacy, research, education, and peer support, creating a world where every LGBTQ+ young person feels seen, supported, and valued. Our mission is powered by people, and we’re looking for a Director, Total Rewards to help shape the systems and structures that invest in our people and reflect the values we stand for.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director, Total Rewards will play a foundational leadership role in defining and driving Trevor’s enterprise-wide approach to compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition. This individual will architect a Total Rewards philosophy that promotes equity, transparency, and belonging across a fully remote workforce—one that includes union and non-union staff as well as employees supporting Trevor’s 24/7 crisis services.
