Amanda is an Associate, providing operational and administrative support to the Business Development and Client Experience teams. She is excited to use her knowledge of relationship building and customer service with partners and clients who are doing important work in their communities.
Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Amanda worked in the field of student affairs in higher education for nearly 17 years where she was responsible for building processes and programs to promote student development. In addition to leading a team of professional staff, she managed a number of departmental HR functions including manual creation, policy development and interpretation, learning and development, and onboarding. Throughout her career, Amanda has developed a strong attention to detail, a high level of confidentiality and excellent customer service skills. Amanda values fostering resourcefulness and efficiency, which she continues to embrace at Nonprofit HR.
Amanda earned her Master of Arts in Student Affairs from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication (public relations track) from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!). In her free time, she enjoys being an involved aunt to four energetic kids.
