Jaime Buseman Burton, MS, SHRM-CP

Jaime Buseman Burton, MS, SHRM-CP, is an Associate Consultant within the firm’s Outsourcing practice. She provides operational and administrative HR support across the employee lifecycle to Nonprofit HR clients. She cares deeply about others and is passionate about creating a positive employee experience, ultimately allowing her clients to focus on achieving greater impact.

Jaime has worked in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors including hospitality, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and union manufacturing. She has been the HR point of contact supporting 50 to 200 local employees and has collaborated within HR teams supporting 1,000 to 20,000 employees across the U.S. She has experience in recruitment, onboarding and orientation, offboarding, training, benefits, leave administration, employee engagement and labor. She has a passion for process improvement to increase efficiency and organizational success.

Jaime holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Human Services from Gwynedd-Mercy University and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Social Work from Columbia University where she specialized in Social Enterprise Administration and concentrated in Health, Mental Health and Disabilities. Both degrees led her to internships and volunteer work in the nonprofit sector including hospice, victim services and education. Jaime is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a member of the local SHRM chapter in Lancaster, PA. In her free time, she spends time at the craft brewery that she co-owns alongside her husband and brother- and sister-in-law and also enjoys spending time with Woody, her hound dog rescue!
