105Julie Trimarchi provides compensation support regarding base salary structures, compensation philosophy, compensation policies and pay equity. She provides consultation utilizing external market data and internal metrics to design compensation programs aligned with organizational goals which attract, motivate and retain employees.

Julie has over 20 years of experience in compensation for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently, she consulted nonprofit organizations on the design and/or redesign of base pay programs, pay philosophy, pay policies and best practices. Prior to consulting, she held the position of Director of Compensation for 10 years with the Continental Division of Hospital Corportation of America (HCA), a fortune 500 company. She also worked for five years with nonprofit Kaiser Permanente as a Senior Compensation Analyst. She has additional experience in the technology and restaurant industries.

Julie has worked to align compensation programs to support organizational goals across small and large organizations, creating efficiencies, while driving market competitiveness and pay equity. She is solutions oriented, using data and strategic thinking to bring meaningful, sustainable change to the organizations she works with. She is experienced analyzing and using external market survey data in combination with internal metrics and priorities that are unique to each organization. She has also designed and delivered compensation training to various audiences, including front line leaders, executives, HR colleagues and employees.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Ithaca College. She is also a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR), certified through HRCI. She loves to travel, has a big garden (it's really about the tomatoes) and enjoys beautiful Colorado outdoor activities with her dog, friends and family.
