As a results-driven and meticulous professional, Katherine thrives in fast-paced environments. Her strengths include exceptional time management, organizational prowess, and a keen ability to conduct thorough financial analyses and maintain effective communication with teams and clients.
Holding a Master of Accounting from the College of William & Mary, Katherine's career was initiated at a leading accounting firm, where she acquired a broad range of financial experiences. Now a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), her strategic approach has greatly enhanced financial practices, notably in streamlining monthly closing processes, managing cash flows, reducing receivables turnover, resolving subcontractor discrepancies and improving payroll accuracy.
Katherine directly supervises and mentors staff, having trained an employee in sophisticated financial tools such as Deltek Vantagepoint and Bill.com. As a dedicated member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), she stays updated with the latest industry standards and practices. Her role is pivotal in conducting detailed reports, analyses and projections within client service organizations, significantly impacting strategic decision-making.
