Kendra Reynolds

Kendra Reynolds provides operational and administrative human resources support to retained or project-based clients. Also, she acts as an essential part of the service delivery team that interacts with clients and employees handling day-to-day HR operational activities, programs and projects. Additionally, she can work as the point of contact for client employees, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information, following established policies and procedures as well as ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Kendra brings energy, accountability and a smile to Nonprofit HR. She believes being of service to others is why we were placed on this earth and values every client she works with.

For the past two and a half years, Kendra solely managed five locations in four states as the HR Manager of a fast-paced manufacturing company. She has experience with recruiting, policy and procedure, benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS integration and onboarding. Prior to Nonprofit HR, she worked for a nonprofit organization as a HR Generalist where her duties were onboarding, HRIS training, benefits administration, audits and mediating employee conflicts. In previous roles, she assisted in implementing tier structures with the motto of, “The more you learn, the more you earn.” This was to incentivize employees to be cross-trained in multiple positions. She also helped reduce turnover by spearheading leadership training while providing strategic partnership in cost savings by vetting and implementing new HRIS systems. She has always prided herself on her ability to build and maintain relationships, and sees building trust as essential to any healthy working relationship.

Kendra has created new hire onboarding processes and procedures, along with workflow creation, to give employees the best experience from day one. She also created processes for reporting injuries and written policy for workplace safety. Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science with a cognate in Business. In continuing her education, she also attends conferences, webinars and other networking events to expand her knowledge. Outside of work, she loves to cook—lasagna is a family favorite! As a former Division I athlete for Coastal Carolina University (Go Chanticleers!), she loves to watch basketball and has coached high school girls basketball in her free time. She is the happiest when spending time with her family and friends.
