Lisa McKeown is a seasoned total rewards and HCMS leader, specializing in global and U.S. national compensation strategy, program design, communication and education. She is recognized for her strategic mindset and consultative approach, delivering innovative, service-oriented solutions that enhance both organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
Lisa’s expertise spans compensation and benefits program design, strategic thought partnership, systems implementation, and compensation communication and training. Her ability to translate complex challenges into impactful, sustainable programs has made her a trusted advisor to organizations worldwide.
Before joining the firm, Lisa gained firsthand experience as an internal leader, shaping her holistic and client-centered approach to consulting. She spent nearly a decade at Pathfinder International, culminating in her role as Director, Total Rewards and HRIS, where she led the development of the organization’s first global total rewards structure. Her career also includes key roles at Staples Inc., TRW Inc., Arthur D. Little, and SMOC, a Massachusetts-based human services nonprofit.
A sought-after speaker and panelist, Lisa has shared her insights at industry events hosted by Humentum, Nonprofit NY, Birches Group and SHRM. She has also authored many white papers and blogs on compensation, benefits and HR technology. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Speech (BSSP) in Business Communications from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, and is an active member of Humentum, SHRM, and the New England Benefits Council.
