Shaunna Hook

Shaunna Hook is a solutions-focused Total Rewards Consultant with over eight years of experience in human resources. As a strategic compensation and benefits consultant, she advises on market competitiveness, partners in designing and delivering compensation training, develops and revises positions, and leads benefits assessments and administration.

Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Shaunna worked as an HR Generalist and focused on the many facets of human resources, such as:

  • Performance management
  • Benefits administration
  • Employee engagement
  • Employee relations
  • Human resource information systems
  • Talent acquisition
  • Learning & development 

Shaunna graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology and a focus in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Shaunna is pursuing a Master of Legal Studies (MLD) degree from Wake Forest University.

In her free time, Shaunna enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and engaging in health and wellness practices (i.e. yoga, meditation).
