Shelbie Webster provides strategic guidance, insight and direction on a variety of complex client engagements and talent management projects in areas such as workforce planning, HR assessments and audits, organizational culture assessments, employee engagement, change management and performance management. She also leads learning and development projects by conducting needs assessments, developing content design, delivering training session(s) and measuring effectiveness. She provides strategic thought partnership to clients and internal team members and represents Nonprofit HR by presenting and writing in her areas of subject matter expertise.
Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Shelbie held the position of Strategic HR Advisor – Culture, Engagement & DEI at FedEx Dataworks and was responsible for leading and developing the organization's culture, engagement and DEI strategy. Before FedEx, she worked for NFIB as the National Employment Director and was responsible for leading the organization's talent acquisition strategy for both the administrative and field sales organization. Prior to NFIB, Shelbie worked for Prime Communications, the nation's second largest authorized retailer for AT&T, and was responsible for providing director-level strategic human resources leadership in a multi-state environment. As Director of Human Resources, she led a team of HR and talent acquisition professionals, providing strategic direction on all aspects of human resources in a multi-state retail sales environment. Prior to Prime Communications, Shelbie worked at Verizon Wireless providing human resources strategic leadership and direction to the Region President and over 1,400 employees across five states. Before joining Verizon, she worked at Flowserve Corporation in Cookeville, TN providing HR Management guidance and leadership for all aspects of human resources.
Shelbie obtained her Associate’s degree in business from Columbia State Community College, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Tennessee State University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lipscomb University. She is currently a candidate for the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Liberty University. Shelbie holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Shelbie also received a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, is a certified Professional Development and Life Coach through the Capp Institute and is a member of the John Maxwell Team.
