Sidney Abrams, SHRM-SCP
Sidney Abrams is a nationally respected human capital executive with more than 30 years of experience advancing people strategy, organizational development, and HR leadership within mission-driven organizations. As Managing Principal of OneDigital’s Nonprofit Practice, Sidney leads the firm’s national strategy to expand its footprint in the nonprofit sector — delivering innovative, people-centered solutions that elevate talent capacity and drive lasting impact.
Following OneDigital’s acquisition of Nonprofit HR in 2024, Sidney was appointed to this expanded leadership role, building on his longstanding expertise in human capital consulting and client experience strategy. His work centers on helping purpose-driven organizations rethink traditional approaches to talent by implementing cutting-edge solutions in HR outsourcing, retained search, and specialized project work. Sidney brings a future-forward mindset to designing scalable, sustainable strategies that anticipate workforce challenges and unlock organizational potential.
Prior to joining OneDigital, Sidney spent 16 years with Nonprofit HR, most recently serving as Chief Client Experience Officer, where he was instrumental in scaling the firm’s consulting services and national reach. He also held key leadership roles in business development and HR consulting, where he oversaw and delivered dozens of engagements, including HR effectiveness assessments, compliance audits, HRIS implementations, and sensitive workplace investigations.
Sidney holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland and professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Outside of work, he is the proud father of four adult sons, an avid golf enthusiast, and a lifelong seeker of great barbecue and meaningful travel.
