OneDigital Welcomes Nonprofit HR, Expanding Capabilities for the Social Impact Sector

A resourceful place

Nonprofit HR’s Blog

After 25 years of leading the Nonprofit HR team, now formally OneDigital’s National Nonprofit Practice, I am announcing today that I will be transitioning away from my role on May 31, 2025.

It has been the honor of my professional life to build a team that has grown from a small startup into a leading force in building HR capacity for mission-driven organizations across the country. I am incredibly proud of how our pioneering approach to nonprofit human resources has transformed the way thousands of organizations develop and manage their most important asset: their people.

I have decided that it is time to reshape my professional and personal paths and to pursue other passions I have long held. I remain immensely proud of what we have built together for the sector and confident in the continued success and impact of the Nonprofit Practice.

Our partnership with OneDigital, formed in December 2024, has positioned us for continued growth and expanded capabilities. Sidney Abrams, Chief Client Experience Officer, has been appointed to succeed me as leader of the practice, effective June 1, 2025. He will serve in his new role as Managing Principal, Nonprofit Practice. I am incredibly proud of Sid as he enters this next chapter in his career and life. Having worked alongside him for 17 years, I know that his deep commitment to our work and the sector makes him the ideal person to carry this mission forward.

During my tenure, we have gathered and shared critical knowledge and research to support the sector in times of great uncertainty, responded to evolving market needs, and guided some of the most impactful organizations through significant periods of change. These achievements reflect the dedication and expertise of our extraordinary team, whose commitment to excellence will continue to move the organization forward.

I am confident that OneDigital will continue to strengthen the HR capacity of mission-driven organizations throughout this leadership transition and well into the future. While my role is changing, my belief in our mission, my support for the work, and my dedication to the social sector and its need for strong leadership remain steadfast.

I extend my sincere gratitude to our clients, partners, and the entire nonprofit community for the opportunity to serve and grow alongside you over the past 25 years. You have made this chapter of my career and life both meaningful and rewarding. I will be forever grateful.
