Our Senior DEI consultant, Antonio L. Cortes PhD, has over a decade of experience as an applied Industrial/Organizational and Business Psychologist. Antonio has a track record of spearheading national organizational development strategies that have contributed to the growth of an existing membership base consisting of 3 billion dollars in annual revenue across 2700 U.S. based locations. This includes being the business lead for the development and scaling of long-term national partnerships and programs with organizations such as the NFL Player’s Association and Optum, a healthcare organization that generates over 100 billion in revenue annually.
Antonio has engaged in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) work focused on improving multiple levels of organizational functioning from personnel development to business model redesign to meet the needs of evolving customer groups. Antonio has extensive experience facilitating national DEI workshops in large non-profit organizations in addition to serving as an adjunct faculty member leading graduate level courses in Global HR, Managing Organizational Diversity and Organizational Leadership. He holds an A.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in General Psychology from Purdue University in addition to a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and PhD in Business Psychology both from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. When asked about a fun fact about himself, he takes pride in the fact that he has never once lost his keys or his wallet.
