Talent Acquisition: Direct Hire

We're pairing nonprofits with the mission-driven talent they need to grow.

Nonprofit HR matches skilled professionals with full-time opportunities at nonprofits across the country. Your organization may not be hiring right now, but our experienced recruiters are. We’ll find your nonprofit’s next hire before you even know you need them. Nonprofit HR works with both nonprofits and mission-driven organizations that are committed to making an impact on the social sector.

We have a pulse on the availability and emergence of nonprofit talent and talk with candidates daily. Our relationships with both active and passive candidates are an advantage your nonprofit will appreciate when it comes time to scale or fill an existing role. Our talent acquisition specialists can be present during the planning stages of your recruitment process to gain the critical information required to make the placement a success. Then, we’ll save you time and money as our recruiters drill down to the top candidates for your specific needs. How our direct hire process works:

Interview & Assignments

Our TA consultants will conduct in-depth interviews with a variety of candidates. This provides us with information to understand their career objectives.

Making a Match

Your TA consultant will make matches between candidates and our clients based on in-depth interviews. We will also actively market candidate resumés to organizations for which they are a match.

The Interview

Once we’ve found a matching opportunity, we’ll present it to the candidate immediately. If they are interested, we will schedule an interview. We give our clients a select shortlist of candidates so they can focus on quality over quantity in the interview process.

The Job Offer

Your TA consultant handles all benefit and salary negotiations on your behalf. This gives both the jobseeker and the hiring organization an advantage.

Adding Value to Your Talent Search

Every organization has unique talent needs, but it can be difficult to evaluate a prospective candidate’s fit using traditional tactics alone. That’s why we’ve partnered with PDA International.

As a value-add in our direct hire process, we evaluate every candidates’ skills, experience and behavioral profile with the PDA International Personal Development Analysis assessment. This assessment and our thorough analysis will ensure your role is filled with a candidate who fits with your organization’s culture and is highly capable of advancing its mission and goals.

The PDA assessment:

  • Identifies the critical thinking, business, persuasive and leadership skills of candidates
  • Measures candidate motivation and behavioral fit
  • Measures overall candidate match based on the needs of the position
