Washington, D.C., September 16 — Nonprofit HR has released the results of its 2024 Total Rewards Practices Survey, providing a comprehensive look at the compensation, benefits, and reward strategies currently shaping the social impact sector. This survey highlights the growing complexities organizations face in building competitive compensation models while addressing evolving employee expectations around work-life balance, transparency and organizational impact.

With participation from over 350 social sector organizations of all sizes and mission types — including nonprofits, associations and for-profit social enterprises — the 2024 Total Rewards Practices Survey uncovers critical data that HR professionals, executive leaders and board members can use to navigate today’s dynamic labor market.

The survey also marks emerging trends such as the increasing importance of lifestyle benefits, particularly in the wake of the pandemic, and the critical role that HR technology plays in improving overall employee experience and engagement.
